Overview :
This role is responsible for managing and supporting applications utilized by the HR team for their operations, with a focus on Oracle Fusion HR platforms. The position oversees architecture, support, maintenance, and enhancements while driving operational efficiency through a combination of onshore and offshore resources. The manager leads a team of analysts and developers, ensuring solutions align with business needs, IT standards, and security requirements. Collaboration with IT and business partners is essential to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify opportunities to improve HR applications, processes, and services, recommending solutions that meet business objectives.
- Serve as the primary contact for HR business partners for system-related matters.
- Hire, coach, and manage team members, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Oversee daily operations and production support activities to maintain system integrity and resolve incidents.
- Implement best practices aligned with IT frameworks and manage application support services with SLAs where needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and maintenance plans for HR applications, ensuring high availability and controlled change processes.
- Collaborate with IT leaders to align solutions with business, security, and infrastructure standards.
- Establish and adhere to promotion processes to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Design and implement disaster recovery, data backup, and archiving strategies for critical systems.
- Analyze existing applications for effectiveness and develop strategies for improvement or optimization.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects, partnering with the project management team as needed.
