Job Title : Structural Engineer
Location : Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid / Remote Position 1 day in the office)
Duration : Contract-to-Direct hire
Pay Range : $40-60 / hr DOE
Job Responsibilities :
Responsible for the engineering design support of small to large heavy industrial projects (Oil, Gas, Mining, Energy, Petrochemical, Material Handling, etc.).
The candidate will be capable of committing to and maintaining to a project timeline.
The ability to document and track project tasks and related design documents is required (strong organizational skills).
Proposal Drafting, Project Management, project staff coordination
Job Requirements :
Minimum BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an Accredited Institution.
PE License in UT or ability to obtain PE
10 years of engineering experience in an Industrial engineering setting is a plus.
Ability to read / interpret specifications and drawings is required.
Good interpersonal and customer relations skills are essential. Must be a self-starter and have ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and have the ability to manage multiple projects / tasks.
Must be familiar in the use of CAD systems and have PC proficiency using MS office. ( ACAD experience is a plus)
Knowledge of applicable codes used for design, machining, fabrication and assembly techniques is also required.
Experience in structural design software; RAM Steel, RISA, STAAD, and FEA tools a plus.
