Job Title **Encounter Analyst
Location **Remote (Must be able to work PST Time)
Duration **12 months (possibility for extension)
Project Summary Client Claims' Department is seeking an Encounter Analyst.
Essential Functions
Top Five Skills Required Minimum of 2 years working in the QNXT Version 6.0 or higher
Recent experience working claims and encounter processing
Experience in analysis and submissions of claims data in a healthcare setting.
Experience with EDI solutions and/or EDI related programs
Knowledge of all HIPAA EDI protocols, X12 transaction sets and other EDI processing standards including the 837 and 835
Monitor and support encounter data submissions to DHCS
Identify and resolve DHCS claim rejections daily
Coordinate remediation efforts with internal partners (configuration/provider services)
Identify trends and discrepancies
Knowledge of Medi-Cal
Experience with health plan operations with provider, member and claims data as it relates to the encounter data and processing
Agile Methodology
Nice to have skills Claims Coding Certification (Medical)
Edifecs experience is a plus.
Education Bachelor's
