Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a DevOps Quality Assurance Associate, who will be responsible for daily deliverables and outputs, while at the same time developing a knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- 3 years of experience
- Experience Test case management tools like Azure DevOps
- Working in Agile or Waterfall Environments
- Developing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium
- Writing complex queries using Oracle SQL Developer
- C#, Python, or Java programming languages
- Thorough knowledge of software development life cycle
- Thorough knowledge of agile principles and scrum product team procedures
- Proficiency with software tools like Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Azure DevOps, Oracle SQL Developer, and major web browsers
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate acceptance criteria and business requirements
- Be responsible for reviewing new or modified applications, including documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts, to determine if the program will perform according to user stories/requirements and conform to guidelines
- Utilize SQL Developer to query for test data for test case execution
- Develop and execute test cases/scripts manually in an agile or waterfall project environment while keeping user experience in mind and ease of use of new products
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts; analyze test results, reporting, and documenting technical issues
- Create and manage all test evidence in Azure DevOps
- Enter defects and present steps to recreate errors to report issues to developers to fix and report to stakeholders for risk assessment
- Report/triage defects and support in resolution, reporting these issues to developers and stakeholders as necessary
- Coordinate UAT and document test cases and findings for business partners
- Collaborate with other team members to deliver the product or feature
