Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Project Manager, who is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field is a plus
- 5 years of experience
- Experience in a specialized technical field such as engineering
- Knowledge of multimedia tools and/or video editing software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other documentation tools
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and interpret technical information
- Use graphic design tools to create visual aids and diagrams
- Review and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Translate technical jargon into easy-to-understand language for non-technical users
- Manage document version control and ensure all materials are up to date
- Provide support and training to users on new and existing documentation
- Gather feedback from users to continuously improve documentation quality
- Meet with elected officials as part of a team to explain the project and project impacts to public safety
- Prepare for and participate in public meetings, hearings, or open houses to present the project and answer questions
