Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Risk Specialist, who is responsible for ensuring that fraud risk management strategies and programs are established, maintained, and enhanced to support the businesses in managing their fraud risks while meeting business and regulatory expectations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree is a plus
- 2 years of experience
- Experience with the creation review/maintenance in the operational/technology risk programs
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
- GRC tool experience
- Experience with Development and management of internal risks and controls
- ServiceNow (not development) experience
- Experience with technology risk within Financial institutions
- •Microsoft Office Suite experience
- 1st, 2nd Line or audit of Defense risk experience
- Experience with Visio and Tableau is a plus
- Coso Certification is a plus
- Analytical background/data proficiencies (data mapping) is a plus
- Experience with KY3P (know your third party) is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Executes the Line of Business Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable
- Enables line of business adherence with risk management programs
- Participates in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations
- Leads in the design and development of specific risk management program components
- Executes the risk management programs within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews)
- May lead cross-functional teams
- Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit)
- Leads or influences risk initiatives and business as usual activities
- Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution
- Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate
