Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Java Developer, who is responsible for leading in the development of the most complex new and emerging technologies and selects appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree – Computer Science preferred
- 10 years of experience
- Experience with Java, Microservices, API Development, Oracle, Web Development, and SQL
- Experience with OCP and Apigee is a plus
- Experience with Front End Technology with Angular is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on development
- Leading the team with the respective technical stories and discussions
- Participate in requirements and technology solutioning
- Perform design tasks and develop components of the application and technical architecture
- Develop test cases and data
- Execute tests for the application or technical architecture components, work with other programmers, designers, and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals, participate in code reviews, inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project, fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing, document the application to facilitate maintenance
- Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates, and configures solutions
- Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives
- Provides a systematic analysis of client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered
- Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes
