Contra Costa Christian Schools (CCCS) maintains a mission to Prepare the Next Generation with Christian values and a quality academic foundation from preschool through high school.
CCCS is seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher for our campus in Walnut Creek, CA.
This is a year-round position that follows our academic calendar from August through May, including Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break Camps, as well as Summer Camp from June to July. This is a team teaching position, offering you the opportunity to share responsibilities, learn from one another, and work in a supportive environment.
CCCS Preschool Teachers are energetic, nurturing, reliable, professional, and love children. Our teachers are passionate about teaching in a Christ-centered environment and enthusiastic about building a strong foundation of curriculum for beginning learners.
Job Details :
- Work with a team to implement Preschool and Pre-K curriculum, teach, and administer all required duties for safe and effective operation of the preschool.
- Adapt activities and support to meet the diverse needs of each child.
- Supervise lunch, play time, and other events as assigned.
- Maintain open communication with parents and provide updates on child development.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom to foster a conducive learning environment.
- Follow established protocols for preschool operations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Preschool Director.
Physical Requirements :
Qualifications :
12 ECE Units (minimum)
Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
CPR Certification
Commitment to the Christian faith aligning with CCCS statement of faith
Salary & Benefits :
A background check & TB test clearance is required.
