What are the responsibilities and job description for the Babysitter/Caregiver position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
Job Title: Babysitter
Job Location: Green Bay, Wi.
We are looking for an engaging Babysitter/Respite Provider to hang out with an awesome kiddo to give mom some time for self-care!
Flexible Scheduling, fun environment, get paid to have FUN.
Pay:
- $14.13/hourly
Schedule:
- To be discussed and determined between provider and family. Can be flexible on start and end times.
- Looking for weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) during the day.
- Additional availability during weekday afternoons for potential coverage is a bonus!
Tasks:
- Respite care is to be conducted in the kiddo’s home. Community outings are also authorized and encouraged!
- Ensure safety while under your supervision. Be able to redirect potential elopement attempts.
- Engage with kiddo and encourage appropriate behaviors. May need verbal prompts to complete certain tasks.
- Willing to transport in personal vehicle, if needed.
- Hang out and have fun! This kiddo loves playing games, visiting the YMCA (has membership), coloring, going to the park, and so much more..
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must have auto insurance.
- Must pass background check.
- Must be CPR certified -or- willing to obtain CPR cert. upon hiring
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
