What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
Job Title: Caregiver
Job Location: De Pere, Wi.
Teenage client in need of a consistent caregiver during occasional weekday evening and weekend hours. Please read below for specifics:
Pay:
- $14.13/hourly
Schedule:
- To be discussed and determined between provider and family.
- Looking for Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s 3:30p.m.-8p.m.
- Every other Saturday 8a.m.-12p.m.
- Additional availability for last minute call ins a bonus!
Tasks:
- Care is to be conducted in client's home. Community outings are also authorized once rapport is established.
- Ensure safety while under your supervision.
- Be comfortable utilizing adaptive equipment (ie. Wheelchair, Hoyer lift)
- Be comfortable assisting with G Tube feedings.
- Engage with teen and have fun! This client enjoys: going on walks (lives on a trail), music, reading books, movies, being involved in the kitchen, and so much more.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License and/or reliable transportation preferred.
- Female candidates encouraged to apply!
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
- Must pass background check.
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
