Duties

Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Monitor patient health and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences while maintaining a clean cooking environment.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those with memory care needs.
Support individuals with autism by implementing specific strategies tailored to their unique requirements.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment within group homes or community settings.

Skills

Experience working with individuals with autism is highly desirable.
Familiarity with group home environments and home community care practices.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Proficient in medication administration protocols.
Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients.
Strong patient monitoring abilities to observe changes in health status.

Previous experience in memory care or nursing is advantageous.
