We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide essential support and care for one individual in need. Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to resident, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, cleaning, changing and washing bedding as well as patient, and meal preparation.
- Administer first aid and medication as needed, following established protocols.
- Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction.
- Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments by using appropriate care techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Document care provided and report any changes in resident conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, home health, or direct support roles preferred.
- Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring residents when necessary.
