What are the responsibilities and job description for the CK - Caregiver Needed - Mostly Weekends position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to make a positive impact in someone’s life? We are currently seeking caregivers to join our team in Milladore, WI and assist a woman with some general task, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs). This position will help the client maintain their independence in a comfortable, familiar setting. Provider must be comfortable working in a home with pets as the client does have 2 small dogs and a 2 cats in the home.
Pay: $18.62/Hour
Location: Milladore, WI - In the client's home
Schedule: Flexible Weekend Shifts (Also miscellaneous weekday shifts) - Schedule TBD between provider & family.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Transfer assistance (Client uses an EZ stand & wheelchair for ambulation)
- Housekeeping duties (light cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
- Preparing meals
- Engaging in activities with the individual
- Medication management
Things She Enjoys:
- Baking
- Anything related to music (listening to it, trivia, etc.)
- Board Games
- Self-Care (she would love if someone could help her with her hair and painting her nails)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Reliable & hardworking individual with a positive attitude
- Must be flexible and willing to adapt to client needs
- 1 year of caregiving experience (flexible)
- Comfortable around pets (2 dogs & 2 cats in the home)
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire
*Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
