Care Provided in the Client's Home
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Flexible hours to be arranged in advance with the client
- Up to 6 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Perform general household chores, including dishes, floor care, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, laundry, and surface cleaning
- Assist with daily living activities such as showering and dressing
- Support with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Grocery shop for the client as needed to ensure they have essential items
- Communicate regularly with the client to schedule shifts and ensure their needs are met
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care, nursing homes, or similar settings is preferred
- Household maintenance experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to elderly care are essential
