- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that their living space is tidy and organized.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to all relevant regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in home community care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, meal preparation, and cleaning protocols is essential.
- Familiarity with group home settings or similar environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
