What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respite Provider position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
Job Title: Respite Provider
Job Location: Altoona, Wi.
We are looking for an engaging Respite Provider to hang out with an awesome teen to give mom some time for self-care!
Flexible Scheduling, fun environment, get paid to have FUN.
Pay:
- $17.66/hourly
Schedule:
- To be discussed and determined between provider and family.
- Looking for respite care 6hrs. every other week- can be during weekday afternoons -or- weekends.
Tasks:
- Respite care is to be conducted in the member’s home. Community outings are also authorized and encouraged!
- Assist with care needs; must be comfortable assisting with toileting and G Tube feedings when necessary.
- Willing to transport in personal vehicle, if needed.
- Hang out and have fun! This teen enjoys playing board games, arts & crafts, puzzles, going on walks, Action City (has pass), and so much more..
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must have auto insurance.
- Must pass background check.
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
