Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide backup support and companionship to an individual. This role involves assisting with transportation to and from appointments, running errands, and offering light housekeeping assistance. Pay: $18.00/Hour & $0.35/mile
Location: Ellsworth, WI - In the client's home/community
Schedule: WED 10am-3pm
Back up for: MON 2pm-pm, THURS 1pm-6pm - *Flexible*
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Housekeeping duties (light cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
- Preparing meals
- Driving her to complete errands & outings
- Engaging in activities with the individual
- No personal cares
Things She Enjoys:
- Movies (Disney, Icon – Everything besides horror!)
- Games (Board games - Sequence!, Card games, etc.)
- Go to local parks & Get out into the Community
- Crafts
- Swimming at YMCA
- Shopping - (She loves to thrift)
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Must be comfortable driving in different weather conditions
- Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire
*Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
