Job Summary
The In Home Caregiver plays a crucial role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This position involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. Caregivers will work closely with clients who may have varying medical needs, including those requiring support in geriatric care, medical-surgical environments, or outpatient settings.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to enhance their independence.
- Monitor and record clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs based on individual client requirements.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams from various settings such as Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, PICU, clinics, and teaching hospitals to provide comprehensive care. Duties include light house cleaning and taking care of animals.
