The incumbent serves as a program analyst for CFPB's Privacy program with responsibility for monitoring privacy compliance within assigned portfolios. Responsibilities As a Government Information Specialist (Privacy Program Analyst), you will :
- Support the implementation of the Privacy program.
Monitor Federal law, regulation, standards, and policy for changes that affect the Privacy program.
Provide guidance in the development and establishment of Privacy policies and procedures to ensure that significant privacy issues are identified, and deficiencies are addressed.
Recommend the adoption and application of new methods and approaches to ensure program or project requirements address privacy risks while aligning with strategic objectives.
Conduct privacy compliance documentation and participate in the implementation of policies and programs required by law to protect personal information under the Privacy Act, E-Government Act, or other privacy guidance through the entire lifecycle of Bureau information systems.
Monitor offices and programs within assigned portfolio to ensure adherence to Privacy policies.
Develop and conduct training that incorporates appropriate privacy protections into all relevant aspects of CFPB operations. Travel Required
