Job Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Systems Manager to join our team at Consumer Product Partners. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of production line equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain production line equipment, including unscramblers, fillers, capppers, labelers, conveyors, case sealers, box makers, bundlers, case packers, palletizers, and other ancillary equipment.
- Analyze machine malfunctions and implement corrective actions to ensure quality of finished goods.
- Verify overall quality of finished goods after change over by checking torque settings, fill level, label placement, square boxes, etc.
- Repair equipment as needed to ensure quality of finished goods.
- Perform daily routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Plan and execute complex equipment rebuilds without direct supervision.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Industrial Electrical Maintenance certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance mechanics role, utilizing latest technology and staying up-to-date with technological advancements.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze complex mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical principles and PLCs, including interpretation of input and output signals.
