Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety during transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client status.
- Document care provided and any changes in client condition.
Skills
- Strong understanding of hospital medicine, particularly in settings such as Level I Trauma Center and Level II Trauma Center.
- Experience in medical-surgical, inpatient, outpatient, emergency medicine, and clinic environments is beneficial.
- Ability to provide high-quality care tailored to individual client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Attention to detail in monitoring health conditions and administering care.
- Ability to work independently while following care plans established by healthcare professionals.
