Warehouse & Purchasing Coordinator
Consumers Energy, a member-owned electric cooperative headquartered in Marshalltown, Iowa, has a position open for a Warehouse & Purchasing Coordinator based at the headquarters location in Marshalltown.
The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager.
- This position will be responsible for inventory levels;
material purchasing; receiving and storage; issuance of materials for projects; general maintenance and upkeep of warehouses and utility yards at headquarters and outpost locations; maintenance of records for electrical equipment; and all other aspects of warehousing and purchasing for the cooperative. The successful candidate is highly customer service driven, organized, a self-starter, and enjoys working in a team environment.
Qualifications include :
High school diploma or GED. Inventory and warehouse experience is preferred. This position requires a detail-oriented person with good organizational, communication, and math skills; heavy lifting; forklift certification; a valid driver's license and safe driving record; and the ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License with an air brakes endorsement.
