We are looking for a new Director Product & Software Engineering (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. Completely remote (within certain countries) or in our Munich office. The choice is yours.
In line with your experience, you will be given a lot of freedom and space for your creativity. This starts with reviewing and adapting the current software architecture & roadmap and continues through to the introduction of new business models. There are also other exciting new developments on the agenda for which you would be responsible.
Of course, all in close cooperation with your existing development teams, which you will lead both professionally and disciplinary. This means that you will also be responsible for development and training. How you do this is up to you, we rely on your experience.
Last but not least, your technical background will help you to be a sought-after sparring partner for your colleagues. And once you have familiarized yourself with all the systems, you will also be a sought-after partner for the C-level. Together with you, we want to implement a variety of exciting projects that will take GPORTAL into new areas and thus ensure even more growth and satisfied gamers.

What convinces us
- At least 10 years of experience in software development
- Experience in leading multiple remote teams
- Strategic understanding of software product design and development
- Experience in the hosting industry (preferably gaming of course)
- ideally also experience in handling/transforming legacy projects
- Fun in gaming (not a must-have, but definitely very nice to have)
