What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Maintenance Associate position at Container Pros, LLC?
Address: 6550 Maude Savoy Brown Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772
Starting Pay: $20.00/hr
Monday-Friday 7am to 4pm (Saturday work as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with Lead Service Tech. the loading of carts for daily work orders.
- Load and unload dry van trailers utilizing a forklift.
- Performs basic maintenance using basic hand tools.
- Replacing lids, cart bodies, and wheels.
- Assist Field Service Tech. to complete service calls when needed.
- Inspect carts for damage.
- Wash all dirty carts.
- Records and document serial numbers of any carts that shall be scrapped.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the yard.
- Perform duties in a safe manner in accordance with the company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of the use of basic tools
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating a forklift
- Customer service oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills
