Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Process Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and regulatory compliance of our Hillsboro, KS facility. This role requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical and operational expertise in a production environment and excellent customer service skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Become a Production Equipment Expert:

  • Master the mechanical and operational intricacies of our production equipment, including blow molding machines.
  • Proactively monitor production lines to ensure flawless product quality and adherence to strict specifications.
  • Develop the critical skills to troubleshoot and swiftly resolve issues with auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
  • Gain expertise in performing mold changes and efficiently starting production runs.
  • Implement a proactive preventative maintenance program to optimize equipment lifespan and minimize unexpected repairs.
  • Master the art of HDPE extrusion blow molding and PET reheat and stretch blow molding processes.
  • Conduct all maintenance activities with meticulous adherence to strict sanitation and safety protocols.

Champion Quality & Food Safety

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Quality Control procedures and the critical importance of meeting stringent product specifications.
  • Implement rigorous food safety practices, ensuring all materials handled by maintenance staff are properly disposed of to prevent contamination.
  • Maintain a pristine and contaminant-free work environment at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring, circuits,
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Additional education, certifications or licenses applicable to the CSI production environment are preferable.
