As the first point of contact for our office, the Front Desk Patient Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and collecting payments
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Coordinate with medical providers to ensure timely patient care
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Assist with insurance claims processing and billing procedures
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred
- Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
