Overview:
The primary purpose of the position is to operate a Swab Machine in order to produce a variety of sizes and styles of swabs for production
Responsibilities:
- Inspects foam, handles and other pieces of equipment, as they are used, for conformance to specification.
- Notifies Supervisor or a member of Quality Dept. of any non-conformance.
- Sorts swabs and packages according to products code and lot number, in accordance with established quality and productivity standards.
- Participates in periodic training programs regarding product specifications; quality; operation and maintenance of worker’s safety.
- Participates and works within ISO 9001-2008 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
- Others may be assigned.
- Ability to operate a mechanical piece of equipment per pre-programmed processing cycles and make minor mechanical adjustments as deemed necessary
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Performs duties with the highest regard for safety and quality.
- Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures.

High school or GED education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee is occasionally required to move and communicate. The employee must occasionally transport/or move up to 10 pounds.
