What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Business Manager - Healthcare position at Contec?
Responsibilities • Develops an in-depth knowledge of Contec’s core products via successful completion of required sales training and utilizes this knowledge to successfully sell Contec product solutions to new and existing customers in the assigned territory.
• Creates and executes a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports Contec revenue and profit targets.
• Optimizes business development plan by maximizing time in the field and overall efficiency through development of leads.
• Meets regularly with manufacturer representatives in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to meet surfaced needs.
• Continuously expands customer understanding and uses Contec product solutions and capabilities.
• Builds long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with manufacturer representatives and their existing and new customers.
• Maintains consistent communication and timely follow-up with manufacturer representatives and prospects and is available and responsive to their customer’s real-time needs.
• Works effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Development) to promote sales for new and existing customers to maximize Contec’s visibility in the marketplace.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Attends conferences, trade shows, and other professional meetings to promote Contec’s product solutions and brand. • Submits timely and periodic activity (CRM) and expense reports.
• Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals Qualifications
