Instrument Engineer
Pasadena, TX (Embedded in-plant)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Instrument Engineer performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following :
- Perform Sizing and Selection of Instrumentation based on client approved vendor list, process data, and knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Develop instrument specification datasheets.
- Maintain interaction with vendors of instrumentation during engineering and procurement process.
- Instrument startup and troubleshooting experience a plus.
- Participate in on-site visits as needed.
- Develop and perform checks of Instrument Indexes based on Piping and Instrument Diagrams.

The Instrument Engineer requirements include, but are not limited to, the following :
Working conditions are as follows :
Standard Hours : Monday—Friday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00pm
Overtime : Occasionally
Range : Permanent
Travel : Minimal (Up to 10%)
