Distributed Control Systems Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Distributed Control Systems Specialist to join our team at Contech Control Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributed control systems, specifically Foxboro IA/EVO/Galaxy configuration, graphics, system architecture, and logic programming of plant control systems.
About the Role:
The Distributed Control Systems Specialist will be responsible for assisting with control philosophy and functional descriptions, communicating progress to project managers, and ensuring quality control of the control system portion of the project. This role requires strong communication skills, as the specialist will work closely with clients to understand their automation needs and develop solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with control philosophy and functional descriptions.
- Communicate progress to project managers.
- Ensure quality control of the control system portion of the project.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, 10 years of control system engineering experience, and demonstrated expertise in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft software products and excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with standard hours (Monday - Friday) and occasional overtime.
- 6-month contract with possible extension.
- 20% maximum travel required.
