Industrial Automation Professional
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Professional to join our team at Contech Control Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, specifically Foxboro IA/EVO/Galaxy configuration, graphics, system architecture, and logic programming of plant control systems.
About the Role:
The Industrial Automation Professional will be responsible for designing, specifying, selecting, and servicing control systems, including basic process control systems, safety systems, communications, etc. This role requires strong analytical skills, as the professional will need to evaluate complex control systems and develop solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and specify control systems for industrial processes.
- Configure and program Foxboro IA and EVO/Galaxy systems.
- Develop and implement control system architectures.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their automation needs and develop solutions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, 10 years of control system engineering experience, and demonstrated expertise in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft software products and excellent analytical skills.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with standard hours (Monday - Friday) and occasional overtime.
- 6-month contract with possible extension.
- 20% maximum travel required.
