Leadperson - Manufacturing Precast

We are looking for a Lead Person to join our Caldwell plant. As a Leadperson - Manufacturing with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

About The Role

As a precast lead, your responsibilities will include:

• The production of precast concrete products.
• Providing work direction to a crew of two to ten employees.
• Finishing concrete according to plan drawing specifications.
• Recording and maintaining inventory, labor and other necessary records.
• Training new employees in the production process.
• Expert in schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications required to stage and layout the production area to efficiently perform the work
• Plans the logistics for all personnel and material movement within and to their areas.
  
  

What We Require

• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand production drawings, engineered prints, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete pouring and concrete finishing for commercial and industrial products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to adjust and basic equipment repairs to meet specifications.
• Mathematical ability.
