Technical Sales Engineer, Precast Solutions

The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while providing innovative precast solutions for structural and architectural commercial projects. You will work closely with plant and project management teams to align customer expectations with production planning and manufacturing schedules for municipal, commercial, and private concrete projects.

About the role:

  • Utilize technical expertise to conduct presentations, develop project specifications, and build a strong project pipeline.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with engineering firms, contractors, developers, regulatory agencies, and architects.
  • Manage and update sales pipeline using CRM tools to track project performance.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within assigned geographic markets.
  • Provide technical and marketing assistance to internal teams.
  • Own the client relationship and leverage internal support network to deliver solutions.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of precast products, competitive solutions, and civil engineering trends.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and professional networking functions such as ASCE and AGC meetings.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering or engineering sales.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts in presentations, virtual meetings, and one-on-one interactions.
  • Proficiency in interpreting Civil, Structural, and Architectural plans.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel up to 20%.

Preferred:

  • Industry experience in engineering and construction.
  • Strong business development, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • PE (Professional Engineer) license.
