Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our e-commerce operations.
Duties
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and invoices.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records within the AS400 system.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the distribution center.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
