Role Description:
This is a full-time_ Art Gallery Sales Associate position. The Gallery Associate will be responsible for assisting in art sales, recruiting clients, inventory management, assisting marketing manager in mailchimp newsletters, instagram, and photography of collections, website updates, and more. We need a highly driven individual who has very strong entrepreneurial instincts, is a self-starter, extremely organized, LOVES SALES, has zero issue doing grunt work, and wants to learn the business of the art world at a highly successful contemporary Philadelphia gallery. _For the right candidate, there is room to grow with this company.

Qualifications:
- Sales, Customer Service in art, and/or luxury retail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of contemporary art trends and artists
- A degree in art history, studio art, or art administration
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- HARD SKILLS: Shopify, Mailchimp, Canva, Excel, Social Media Marketing, Blogging about art
- Proven experience installing and hanging an art exhibition
Full-time: WEDNESDAYS THROUGH SUNDAYS with Mondays and Tuesdays off. THIS IS THE SCHEDULE, no exceptions. WEEKENDS NEEDED.
Pay is HOURLY PLUS COMMISSION of sales.
