Seeking a Technical Support Phone Representative.
We are a local company seeking a motivated individual to work with storage and backup solutions.
We are looking for someone with the ability to follow instructions, research problems independently, and assist our customers with our products. The environment is fast paced and exciting. We provide phone, email and on-site support, as well as product training to our customers.
Now hiring for a full time position! Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Training provided!
Candidates should have some knowledge and/or experience in the following:
- Basic networking principles.
- Basic computer hardware knowledge.
Additional experience preferred but not required:
- Backup software and/or experience.
- SAS, Fibre, and/or iSCSI protocols.
- Hypervisors such as: VMware, XEN, & Hyper-V.
- Microsoft Server 2019, 2022, OSX and/or iSeries.
- SAN, NAS, & RAID technology.
Experience with call logging software would be a plus!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.
- Ability to configure software to connect to Internet application servers
- Provide training to clients in use of our systems and applications
- Obtain general understanding of OS and application operations related to company offered services
- Identify and correct or advise, on operational issues in client computer systems
