Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to the dentist, deliver quality patient care, and ensure efficient dental procedures.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Take X-rays or dental impressions
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred
Skills:
- Experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus
- Familiarity with Medical Records and Dental Assisting procedures
- Knowledge of Medical Imaging systems like Epic
- Experience in Pediatrics or Pediatric Dentistry is beneficial
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software is advantageous
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
