CNC Operator
Job Summary
Responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision metal parts. Produce small batches or large quantities of parts. Ensure products meet precise specifications in a fast pace environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, and milling machines to produce parts utilizing a variety of materials.
- Review blueprints or specifications for a job.
- Position workpiece on the lathe or milling machine.
- Ensure workpiece is properly lubricated and/or cooled.
- Detect problems by observation and listening for specific sounds.
- Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
- Replace dull cutting tools.
- Check accuracy of work against blueprints, specifications and record measurements
- Produce large quantities of parts.
- Perform other essential duties as directed by supervisor
Primary Requirements
- Machine operator experience
- Ability to read and use gauges, micrometer and calipers
- Ability to read prints
- Ability to read and follow documented instructions
- Adhere to health and safety requirements
- Teamwork and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
