This role is essential in ensuring that our apartments are in excellent condition and move-in ready for our residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations as required to prepare apartments for new residents.
- Paint, patch, and repair walls, flooring, fixtures, and appliances.
- Inspect and report any structural, mechanical, or electrical issues.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure tools and supplies are properly stored.
- Work with the property management team to schedule and prioritize make-ready tasks.
- Experience in general maintenance, painting, carpentry, or a similar trade is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
