Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and paint surfaces of walls, ceilings, doors, and other areas in residential apartment units and common areas.
- Install, repair, and patch drywall, ensuring a smooth, finished surface ready for painting or other finishes.
- Perform surface preparation, including sanding, priming, taping, and caulking as needed for both new and repaired surfaces.
- Mix and match paint colors, ensuring consistent application and high-quality finish.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance team members to complete unit turns, repairs, and general maintenance tasks efficiently and on time.
- Ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, properly storing and disposing of painting and drywall materials.
- Communicate effectively with property management and maintenance teams regarding project timelines and requirements.
- Complete work orders and unit turn-related repairs promptly and professionally.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in painting and drywall installation/repair, preferably in a residential or apartment complex setting.
- Strong knowledge of various painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Familiarity with drywall hanging, taping, patching, and finishing processes.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as standing, lifting, and moving equipment and materials.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on the location.
- Candidates selected for employment will be required to undergo a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and reach as necessary.
