Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), is searching for professional, service-focused Event Security Managers to join our CSC Security Team (PILB# 1621) & manage the most exciting venues and events in Las Vegas! CSC Event Managers work with the Branch Director of Operations Manager to implement event operation plans and execute crowd management plans for various venues across Las Vegas. This position serves as the principal liaison between CSC Las Vegas’ Internal and External clients to ensure optimal service delivery on all levels, while gaining first-hand experience and exposure to our arenas, casino theaters, amphitheaters, convention facilities, and other special event venues in Las Vegas. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with Operations Manager & client(s) to develop staffing plans, deployments, and event estimates for their venue.
• Communicate with and “Brief” all crowd management staff.
• Must be able to manage up to 10 Supervisors and crowd management activities to include both security staff & non-security event staff.
• Coordinate all details of their event with our clients.
• Prepare all paperwork, ensures uniform and equipment requests are submitted, and completes all assigned tasks as planned.
• Be present at all major events, with the ability to mitigate any potential issues that may arise.
• Coordinate various event operational planning timelines to ensure client deadlines are met.
• Attend all meetings and serve as the face of the organization, with the ability to speak on behalf of CSC in coordination with clients' events.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• General knowledge of computer operation, Microsoft Office products. Training will be provided on scheduling software.
• Ability to maintain good client/customer relations and work in a team setting.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, applicants, customers, or organization.
• Possess good verbal/written communication skills and people management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment and make sound decisions quickly.
• Work necessary hours needed to complete job preparation in addition to event hours.
• Walking significant distances, including up and down stairs.
• Complete mandated industry trainings as assigned.

• Leadership skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Five years of related work experience in security management.
• Three years of general experience in security.
• Law enforcement or military with a HS Diploma, two years related work experience, bachelor’s degree or associate degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Security, Sports, Hospitality Management, or related field is preferred.
