Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our client in Kennett Square, PA! This permanent opportunity offers $140,000-$155,000 annually! This role includes responsibility for accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. The Controller will play a critical role in optimizing processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and publish complete financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Standardize and streamline accounting processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide actionable insights by analyzing financial and operational data to support decision-making and enhance business performance.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of productivity and professional growth.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax filings and regulatory reports.
- Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives, including the integration of automation technologies.
- Document and update standard operating procedures for key accounting functions.
