Job Title: Collections Representative

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Representative to join our client and play a vital role in supporting their customer account operations. This 100% remote, direct-hire position is open to candidates residing in FL, TN, GA, KY, AL, OH, WV, VA, SC, MD, OK, AR, or NC. The role focuses on resolving delinquent accounts, offering solutions to customers, and maintaining accurate account records in a high-volume call center environment.

Compensation:

• $17.00/hour, paid biweekly
• Overtime paid at time and a half

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST
• One Saturday every four weeks from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST (with a comp day the following week)
• Occasional mandatory and voluntary overtime may be offered
• 30-minute daily lunch break

Key Responsibilities of the Collections Representative:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve customer delinquencies
• Analyze customer financial situations and provide tailored solutions
• Confirm and update account and contact information
• Escalate complex cases to management or support teams as needed
• Document all interactions and outcomes in internal systems with accuracy

Qualifications and Skills for the Collections Representative:

• 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role
• Previous call center experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Goal-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with MSP software preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
