Infusion Pharmacist
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist to join our client for an exciting opportunity in Norcross, GA! As the Infusion Pharmacist, you will provide comprehensive pharmacy services for chronic and acute infusion therapies, including sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards. This direct hire role offers up to $140,000/year!
Responsibilities of the Infusion Pharmacist Include:
- Prepare, compound, and dispense medications as prescribed, adhering to sterile preparation guidelines and state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and proper workflow.
- Collaborate with nursing, intake, reimbursement, and other teams to deliver efficient, patient-focused care and achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, staff training, and preceptorship programs for pharmacy interns as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, including controlled substance documentation, and assist with insurance audits and authorization compliance.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.) with relevant clinical experience.
- Active pharmacist licensure in the state of practice.
- 1–3 years of experience in infusion pharmacy or hospital pharmacy IV room operations.
- Experience with sterile compounding is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CPR /CareTend systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- This role may require participation in an on-call rotation and flexibility to support varying shift schedules.
