Job Title: Appraisal Coordinator
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Appraisal Coordinator to join our client and play a vital role in supporting appraisal operations. This position begins with onsite training in Wexford, PA, transitions to remote work, and ultimately becomes 100% onsite in Bethel Park, PA later this year. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a desire to work in the real estate/mortgage industry.
Compensation:
- $18 - 19/hr
Work Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Initial 2-week onsite training, followed by remote work until relocation to Bethel Park office
Key Responsibilities of the Appraisal Coordinator:
- Manage and prioritize appraisal orders within a designated region
- Maintain efficient workflow using client loan origination systems (LOS)
- Create and maintain tracking reports from appraisal order to completion
- Support clients in ordering appraisals and managing associated conditions
- Collaborate with departments such as Underwriting, Processing, and Production
- Contact appraisers directly when required
- Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills for the Appraisal Coordinator:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- Background in the mortgage industry is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
