Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medication administration.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance verifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Support X-Ray procedures by preparing patients and ensuring proper equipment usage.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care, especially in geriatrics.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and medication usage as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential.
- Experience with patient care practices and medication administration is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
