Stockroom Clerk
Contender Boats has an immediate job opening for a Stockroom Clerk. He or she will be responsible for keeping the stockroom organized and ensuring that proper inventory levels are always kept.
Job Duties:
· Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
· Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
· Operate a forklift.
· Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
· Ensure that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse.
· Schedules for materials being transferred to and from the warehouse, coordinates transfer of inventory between departments.
· Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Must be certified to operate a forklift.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to meet deadlines.
· Boat manufacturing experience preferred.
