Job Description:
As the General Manager at CRS, you will hold a pivotal role in the organization. You'll be responsible for the overall management and success of our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of tasks, from overseeing daily business operations to developing growth strategies to ensure efficiency within our team. You will act as the subject matter expert for all the physical and systematic processes used during pack-outs and pack-backs and guide the team to a successful daily outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Business Operations: Oversee and manage daily business operations to ensure seamless execution. You will lead all packouts and ensure all contents are packed out, transported, cleaned, stored, and packed back in accordance with internal processes and industry standards.
- Growth Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and profitability. Commissions will be paid for new referral partners that you find that yield new jobs.
- Operational Management: Coordinate with leadership on the daily staffing and work planning, expectations, and jointly resolve any challenges that could hinder a successful execution. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Monitor quality control procedures and ensure that orders are fulfilled with high accuracy and quality standards.
- Team Training: Train and mentor low-level managers and staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Budget Management: Create and manage budgets to optimize resource allocation and financial sustainability.
- First Response: Be the first point of contact for initial consultations and assessments of jobs.
- Revenue Enhancement: Identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
- Employee Recruitment: Lead the hiring process for new employees, ensuring the right talent is on board.
- Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance and productivity of team members and departments.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze accounting and financial data to make informed decisions.
- Growth Opportunities: Research and identify growth opportunities in the market.
- Reporting: Generate reports and deliver presentations to owner.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in restoration environments that have been damaged by fire / water / mold / other intrusions.
- Experience leading a Content Recovery team in the restoration industry or a Moving team is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Possess a valid driver's license and be very comfortable with driving a 16’ box truck in urban and rural environments. Experience driving box trucks is required.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (365), Assured Packout, Xactimate, Simbility and related software is a plus.
- Clearance to work in the United States.
- Clean background check and ability to pass a drug test, as required by our partner carriers.
- A clean cut, professional appearance and positive attitude are always required. This position is critical to CRS’ reputation and success in the North Austin area market.
