In your role as a Senior Administrator, People Systems, you will be a critical partner to our growing global team on systems related topics. You are fully dedicated to internal clients across the business, their needs and duties, and above all else - removing friction. What to expect?
- Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of People Systems, including configuration, testing of system changes, report writing, system upgrades, and workflows, with a focus on partnering to streamline and automate processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the People Team, evaluating, selecting, and implementing technology solutions to optimize HR operations.
- Lead the configuration, design, and implementation of complex Workday projects, ensuring system scalability and optimization.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to define integration requirements, oversee implementation, and ensure system interoperability (without direct configuration responsibilities).
- Establish and maintain partnerships with external vendors and internal solutions teams to enhance service delivery and system performance.
- Manage and effectively communicate design, build, and launch strategies to stakeholders.
- Proactively evaluate and test major and minor system upgrades, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption.
- Mentor and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with the Workday team to enhance system expertise, improve efficiencies, and drive best practices.
- Consult on and utilize process and technology tools that enhance team effectiveness, including JIRA/Kanban boards, project plans, the Wiki/People Portal configuration, and others as needed.
- Assist in reviewing and distributing Level 2 & 3 People Systems help desk requests to support system users.
What you need to be successful?
- Minimum 7 years of Workday configuration experience.
- Minimum 4 years of Payroll Configuration experience (or other PATT areas).
- Deep expertise in Workday, particularly in Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules (Benefits preferred). Workday Pro or Certification is a plus.
- Experience launching, configuring, and maintaining Workday HRIS; prior experience implementing a cloud-based HRIS or consulting on implementations is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to translate system and business process requirements into proposals for process enhancements and system implementation.
- Deep understanding of Workday Payroll, including downstream impacts on Finance, Benefits, and Compliance when implementing system enhancements.
- Experience with quality assurance testing, test scripts, and bug reporting procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proven ability to design and problem-solve while exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong project leadership skills, with experience leading system-wide HRIS projects.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What Sets You Apart
- Operations experience in processing payroll in Workday (end-user experience).
- Experience working with payroll vendors such as CloudPay, Aetna, SunLife, Sparrow, OSV.
- Additional Workday experience in Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, or Integrations is a plus.

Colorado Salary Statement: The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
Colorado Salary Range: $136,000 - $138,500
