What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Contento's?
We're looking for a part time office assistant to join our team. Hours will vary based on the needs of the business. Opportunity for full time during peak operating season.
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. Located in CORTLAND, NY.
Looking for an energetic, dedicated, and friendly person. Must be at least 18 years of age. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer & direct phones calls, file & scan documents, run errands
- Support with bookkeeping tasks, paper & electronic as needed
- Scale operation (certification training provided)
- Processing of credit card and cash payments
- Light housecleaning of breakroom, inventory/restocking of supplies, able to lift 30lbs w/o assistance
Skills we are looking for:
- Great presence in-person, on the phone, and electronically
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivator, ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong math skills with attention to detail important
- Basic knowledge computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Internet)
- Neat, legible handwriting is important
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
